The exam takes 30 to 45 minutes. A standard certificate is valid for 2 years; if you have controlled high blood pressure or diabetes without insulin, the doctor may issue it for 1 year. We recommend renewing at least 2 weeks before it expires so you don't lose work days. If your employer also requires a drug and alcohol test, we can do it in the same visit.
