What is a vitamin IV drip?
It is a solution given through a vein, drop by drop, while medical staff keep an eye on you. It is a complement, not a replacement for good nutrition or medical treatment.
Who can get one?
Adults whom the medical team, after reviewing their health, considers a good fit for the drip. If you have questions, ask us at your visit and we will explain everything in Spanish.
What is the session like?
First, medical staff check your blood pressure, history and possible allergies to confirm the drip is right for you. Then a vein in your arm is accessed and the drip runs slowly while you rest. Afterwards you can return to your normal activities. No fasting or preparation is needed.
